I’ve been teaching guitar excellence for 40 years, in people’s homes since 1994. You won’t have to pack up the kids, leave the dinner burning, drive to a music store and wait for the lesson to be over. Just stay home and do what you do. Let me come to you.
I’m a fun, happy, warm and caring teacher who loves what he does (50 years and counting). My style is relaxed and organic with a focus on performing.
Our lessons are tailored to the student’s needs and desires. Not a one size fits all cookie cutter approach. We go through a lot of different kinds of music around here, although it’s mostly Classic Rock and Pop du jour. Child (8 and up) to adult (80 and down), beginner to advanced, including a lot of retired (or not) professionals now doing what they’ve longed to, after the kids have grown. In addition to teaching most styles of popular music, I teach songwriting and recording.
Acoustic and electric guitar rental is available, as well as miscellaneous guitar related supplies and I do some repairs (for my students only). References available.
You’ll find me teaching ONLINE via Zoom, Skype and FaceTime, and in Amberley, Anderson, Mariemont, Blue Ash, Hyde Park, Indian Hill, Madeira, Montgomery, Mt. Lookout, NKY, Pleasant Ridge, Wyoming etc.., but have (schedule permitting) gone beyond the call of duty in my travels : )
I’ve lived a life dedicated to all things music and guitar. Played clubs, festivals, concerts @ U.S. Bank Arena (notably shared the stage with Ray Charles), toured the South, recorded in world class studios, played on many radio and TV commercials, documented in the Rolling Stone Illustrated History of Rock and Roll, written songs aired on TV and radio, write and record original music….and I sing Happy Birthday MANY times a year.
